Implementing the marine environment supervision, disaster forecasting as well as risk assessment; developing a numerical forecast model and risk assessment methods for the coupling of multiple disaster factors which are applicable to different sea areas in China; carrying out the real-time supervision, early warning and emergency safeguarding of marine disaster dynamic factors with the help of Institute of Oceanology, Yantai Institute of Coastal Zone Research, Institute of Atmospheric Physics, South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Institute of Acoustics, Institute of Deep-sea Science and Engineering and other R&D teams.
